Public notice – Temporary closure of council facilities on 5 October 2026

Central Highlands Regional Council advises the community that council facilities, including offices, libraries, transaction centres, and resource recovery centres will be closed on Monday 5 October 2026 for the King’s Birthday public holiday. Facilities will reopen on Tuesday 6 October 2026.  

Online services and council’s after-hours phone service will be available during the closure. Essential service staff will also be on call to respond to emergencies.
