Winners Announced at 2022 CHRC Inaugural Youth Art Awards

Recipients of the Inaugural Youth Art Awards were announced last night, Friday 24 June 2022, at the award presentation held at the Emerald Art Gallery.

Youth across the Central Highlands Region between the ages of 10 and 25 participated and submitted 61 stunning pieces.

‘This is the first year of an arts awards competition and presentation dedicated to our youth and we had a fantastic turnout’ says Mayor Kerry Hayes.

‘Congratulations to the deserving young artists, and thank you to all who submitted an entry,’ he added.

All entries will be exhibited at the Emerald Art Gallery Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm until 29 July 2022.
