Cattle on the moove in Springsure – please drive with care

1300 head of cattle will be travelling from Meteor Downs, Springsure to the Springsure Showgrounds.
The travelling stock is scheduled to start on Monday 28 July 2025 and is expected to finish on Wednesday 30 July 2025.
Under Queensland legislation, travelling livestock have right of way and may cause traffic delays of up to 15 minutes. If you come across cattle on the road:
- Slow down
- Be patient
- Only pass when safe to do so
Warning signs will be in place to alert drivers to cattle locations, please reduce your speed and take extra care.
